Application of cantilever beam load cell

The cantilever beam sensor can also be called a shear beam sensor. Most of its shape is rectangular parallelepiped, and the strain zone is in the middle of the sensor. Generally, there are two fixing holes at the tail end and a pressure-bearing accessory at the front end, so that it can carry weight well. The advantages of the cantilever beam sensor are mainly reflected in the convenient installation, and the two mounting holes can be easily fixed on the base or the weighing platform. Easy to maintain and replace. Its anti-eccentric load ability also has outstanding performance in many types of sensors. Its pressure-bearing attachment has a universal joint, which can accurately transmit the force in all directions to each sensor.

Cantilever beam sensors are widely used in small loadometers and platform scales. Generally, three sensors or four sensors are used as a group. The signal of multiple sensors is processed by the signal and conditioner and then transmitted to the measuring instrument, so as to display the measured value.

Under the condition of a large range, the cantilever beam sensor can be manufactured as a weighing module, and its performance will be further improved.
