Precautions when installing the load cell

The installation process of the load cell is more complicated. When installing, you need to pay attention to the boundary conditions of installing and installing special accessories and the installation conditions of the use site. The surface condition, contact area, installation torque, bolt strength and some details of the processing of the load cell will all affect it.

The surface condition of the load cell installation refers to the quality of the contact surface between the weighing platform and the load cell, such as roughness and parallelism. The surface is too rough, which will loosen the fastening bolts and affect performance during long-term use. If the parallelism is too large, the sensor will produce unnecessary component force after loading, which will directly affect the accuracy of the product, and it will not reflect the true accuracy of the sensor. If the sensor on the hopper scale is installed, it is necessary to maintain the balance of the horizontal plane.

The installation contact area of the load cell refers to the fixed contact area between the sensor and the weighing platform. Different company's products have different installation requirements. Under certain contact surface conditions, the greater the installation torque, the smaller the hysteresis. Therefore, when using the pressure sensor, it must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions to ensure product quality.

The influence of the strength of the load cell mounting bolt is the same as the installation torque. If the strength is insufficient, after the load cell product is installed and used for a period of time, the locking force will become loose, which will affect the accuracy.
